Welcome to

Beyond all - things family

Our Story

The idea for Beyond All Things Family began in the mind of Our Executive Director following a change in academic pursuits. Deciding to go into the broader field of Sociology after her second undergraduate degree, she had an epiphany. “How can I change as many lives as possible,” she thought. You see when designing her five-year plan as a young teen she knew that she would work in the human services sector. However, after more than a decade of pursuing a career in the Psychology field, something was missing. Through the disturbing death of George Floyd, the countless recordings of civil unrest, the reemergence of unscrupulous policing misconduct and racial discord, she experienced an unsettling of her mind and spirit. She thought, “Not only must I change lives, but I must do something impactful.”

Enter Beyond All - Things Family.

A nonprofit organization designed to effect change at the level it is needed most, the minority community. As an African American woman raised in poverty our director had more than her fair share of obstacles growing up. So, to effect change on the lives of youth and families who may be suffering some of the same pitfalls she experienced in her life: poverty, credit issues, housing insecurity, and so much more. She has decided to implement a series of programs that seek to help in a holistic way.

Not just with financial security, mentorship, generational wealth, mental and physical wellness, but all these things and more. She likes to say, “I want

to establish the superstore of nonprofits; everything you need we got it.”

From the Founder

Dear Beyond All-Things Family Community,

As we embark on this transformative journey, I am honored to extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for joining us in our mission to create positive change and make a lasting impact on the lives of those we serve. Today marks the beginning of an inspiring chapter in our shared commitment to building a better world.

Founding Beyond All-Things Family has been a deeply personal and passionate endeavor, driven by a profound belief in the power of collective action. We envisioned a space where compassion, innovation, and resilience converge to address some of society's most pressing challenges.

Our journey is guided by a simple yet powerful principle: that together, we can achieve far more than any one of us could accomplish alone. It is this unity that fuels our determination to create meaningful change in the lives of individuals and communities facing adversity.

At Beyond All-Things Family, we recognize the inherent strength in diversity. Our collective backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives form the mosaic that defines us. It is within this mosaic that we find the strength to tackle complex issues, foster inclusivity, and cultivate a sense of belonging for all.

As we move forward, I invite you to actively participate, engage, and contribute your unique talents to our shared vision. Whether you choose to volunteer your time, offer your expertise, or support us in other ways, your involvement is crucial to the success of our initiatives.

I am inspired by the passion and commitment I see within our community. Together, let us strive to be a beacon of hope, creating ripples of positive change that extend far beyond our immediate reach.

Thank you for being an integral part of Beyond All-Things Family. Together, we are not just an organization; we are a force for good, a community of change-makers dedicated to leaving a lasting legacy of compassion, empowerment, and social impact.

With gratitude,

Camille Hudson, M.A.
